Premise #1: If perfection was attainable through the levitical priesthood, then no "new priestly order" would have been needed (v. 11)

Premise #2: A new priest has come, and thus a "new priestly order" has come with him (v. 12)

Evidence #1: He is not a Levite, but from the tribe of Judah (vv. 13-14)

Evidence #2: His priesthood has a different order and basis (vv. 15-17)

Conclusion #1: The old priestly order has been set aside, and the new priestly order, which provides a better hope, has been inaugurated (vv. 18-19)
