    On July 9th, 2002, Diane Alexander’s life would change when she was targeted by a serial killer. What started as a simple knock on her door erupts into a fight for survival against her attacker, as Diane finds herself in an animalistic struggle for her life.
    Derrick Todd Lee (DTL) terrorized the Baton Rouge and Lafayette Louisiana. A Serial Killer who took the lives of at least (7) women in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, Lee’s reign of terror finally ended in late May of 2003 when he was captured in Atlanta, GA after being linked by DNA to several of the murders.

    On May 31, 2002, 22 year old LSU Grad Assistant Charlotte Murray Pace was attacked in her Baton Rouge townhouse which she had moved into only days earlier. She was brutally stabbed more than 80 times. Evidence from the crime scene showed that Pace fought her attacker fiercely throughout several rooms of her home. Her struggle was instrumental to the investigation into her murder, as she trapped her killer’s DNA under her fingernails.

    23-year-old Christine Moore, a bright and ambitious LSU graduate student, laced up her running shoes for what should have been a routine jog through her Baton Rouge neighborhood.
    But on May 24, 2002, Christine vanished without a trace, leaving her family and community gripped by fear and uncertainty. Three agonizing weeks later, her remains were discovered in a shallow grave behind a Church.
    Autopsy reports revealed blunt force trauma to the head, but with no definitive evidence tying her to Lee the case remains shrouded in mystery more than two decades later.
