If we were to say the words of David from Psalm 139:19-22, how honest would we be to say that those words come out of a heart jealous for God's holiness to be revered as opposed to being out of a heart that is selfish?
When I look at the situation in the Middle East, I find those words coming to mind but struggle to claim that they come from faithful intentions. How wonderful it is to know that David perhaps saw that struggle and ended that Psalm with a fitting prayer for such a spiritual battle.
