From a broken record to breaking records! Town’s 2-0 win at Cheltenham this weekend was their fourth consecutive win in the league and their fifth clean sheet in a row, the first time they’ve achieved such a feat since December 1997. The panel begin by reviewing the game and drill into the reasons why and how The Mariners have managed to continue their recent upturn in form. They then go on to elegize over the departure of club captain Danny Rose to Barrow this week but was it the right time to let him go? And how much will the side also miss defender Doug Tharme who appears to have been ruled out for the rest of the season with another injury?

In Part Two the team look ahead to a potentially pivotal week for Grimsby with two tough games scheduled, first a trip Colchester on Tuesday night and then big spending MK Dons visit BP on Saturday in the early kick-off. And then they turn their attentions to the 1-0 win over Barnet, their 4th unbeaten in the league and their 4th consecutive clean sheet, but it wouldn’t be the EFL without another controversial refereeing decision to debate. The conversation then inevitably drifts to the January transfer window and the business David Artell has done thus far, with 3 loan incomings and 1 outgoing to discuss, most notably the return of former Mariner and experienced talisman, Andy Cook.
