Sacrifice and service are two things that every Christian should know. Travis not only knows these things well because of his walk with Christ, but he also serves our country and is being deployed soon. I thought it would be a great time for all of us to reflect on the service of the members of our military and the sacrifice their families make. I'm so thankful I got to hear his perspective on going and his wife Amy for sharing her thoughts as well. Let us all keep them in our prayers and proactively look for ways to help the Biggers family!

Jesse grew up with music being a big part of his life. God took Jesse's gifting in music and made it a calling. Now he feels like more than just a worship leader. Jesse feels like God is expanding that into pastoring through worship. One thing we should all search for in life is the thing that when we do it, we know we're right where God called us to be. Maybe that starts with worshiping him in everything we do! Even if it's shoveling snow in Alaska.

Angela has known my family since before I was even born! She is truly like family to us, and it was so cool to get to hear about her life. Sometimes in life we don't know why some doors are open and others are shut. One of the greatest tools we have is gratitude for what we have in that moment. Thankfulness for what God has done, and hope for the future!

My Mother hasn't been on since episode 3! She has blessed me so much and I wouldn't have the equipment I have today without her. She is an inspiration to so many and her heart for the Lord comes out so truly. One thing we should all strive for is to make Jesus our everything. Be grateful in all seasons. Love one another! Virginia is a day one supporter of the show and was my first guest that wasn't family! It was amazing to hear what the Lord has been doing in her life. Unity is so important in the body of Christ, and I think it was one of the most important parts of this conversation. I think forgiveness is a pivotal step forward. One foundational truth we should stand on is that God is good. If we become unshakeable on this truth, then when tough things happen in our life we won't question God's goodness. We have to fight against these circumstances. Always being ready sharpening ourselves daily to the truth of the word of God. Even in this fallen world there is still good and it's all because of God.

Dean Owen is a veteran and CPA who went from poverty to being a successful businessman. God kept His hand on Dean through his service and now is blessing him in business. What service can you provide for someone? It's not only a way to make money it's also a way to live a Christian lifestyle. When we serve God faithfully, He will help us serve others fruitfully.

Tyler has a story so many of us can relate to. Resentment is something I think we all face at a certain age. After years of drug and alcohol addiction he decided to get his life back on track through the means of AA. Then he found himself finally finding a way to a good life. Only to be content with life as it was. That's when he started to open the word of God for himself and form stronger relationships with others at church. He realized what he had been missing out on. Nothing he has laid down from his past does he wish to hold back onto. True devotion to Christ is what changes us. A heart after him and being led by the Spirit is truly the only way to go.
