Hey UN•THERAPIST,
I need your help. UN•THERAPIZING something…
📌 Let me ask you a question. Do small businesses really believe that people shouldn’t ask for discounts or coupons?
Because let’s be honest, every big brand we shop with BJ’s, Costco, Fashion Nova you already know the first thing we’re doing is hunting for a promo code. No shame.
📌 So why does that conversation suddenly feel uncomfortable when it comes to small businesses?
Now granted, we do understand there's a difference. Smaller budgets. More sweat equity. A lot more risk. A lot more personal investment.
But here’s the real tension:
📌 Why shouldn’t consumers be looking for incentives when deciding where to spend their money?
📌 Is it wrong to ask?
📌 Is it disrespectful?
📌 Or is it just part of how modern consumers shop?
And while we’re at it…
📌 How long is a refill actually good for at a restaurant?
📌 Is there an unspoken rule?
📌 A moral line?
📌 Or are we just making things up as we go?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE, asking for discounts from small businesses, refill etiquette, and exploring the evolving dynamics between parents and their children once they step into parenthood themselves.
