À propos de cet audio

On today’s episode we start season 2 of Faithfully Working Podcast with an interview between Dr. Cory Willson and Dan Churchwell. Cory is the co-author of Work & Worship: Reconnecting Our Labor and Liturgy and a professor at Calvin Seminary here in Grand Rapids Michigan. Dan and Cory discuss a bit of Cory’s heart behind the book as well as some of the big picture topics that it addresses along the way. Sign up for our upcoming WORK and WORSHIP discussion & presentation https://christchurchgr.breezechms.com/form/workandworship (here). Dr. Willson will explore how the issues of faith and work can be reconciled through gathered worship. He will facilitate a discussion on the practical application of incorporating an appropriate theology of faith and work into a church’s time of corporate worship that emphasizes the value of each person’s work, speaks to the issues congregants face in the workplace, and equips each worker to practice their faith throughout the coming work week. We hope to see you there. For more information you can check out our website http://christchurchgr.org/resources/faithfully-working/ (here).
