À propos de cet audio
In this episode, I talk about a recent moment with our youngest daughter, who is adopted, as she begins to notice the ways we're different, like her beautiful brown eyes compared to my blue ones. It was eye-opening at such a young age to hear her say she doesn’t want her eyes, but instead wants to look more like me. It reminded me of something we all do as humans: how easy it is, even from a young age, to desire what we don’t have.
I reflect on how comparison creeps in, often stealing the joy of simply being who we are. What if we tried to flip this toxic narrative and learn to fully embrace the unique way God created each of us? Wouldn't that be amazing?
