In this episode we were curious about the mercury levels in fish and how this happened. What we discovered was bizarre, namely because mercury is a metal and in its elemental form it is heavier than lead yet it quickly evaporates into the air. This puts some perspective on those fluorescent bulbs that few of us actually bag before tossing out.
