    Roland "Champ" Bailey, Jr. is t a Pro Football Hall of Famer and one of the greatest cornerbacks to ever play in the NFL. During his playing days for the University of Georgia, Washington Redskins, and Denver Broncos, Champ built a stellar reputation as a diligent and detailed leader who modeled high-performance. He still holds two NFL records with 203 career pass deflections and being selected to 12 Pro Bowls as a cornerback. He was tabbed for the NFL All-Decade Team of the 2000s and chosen to the Broncos 50th Anniversary Team. Champ was rewarded for his excellence by being elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2019. In all, Bailey played in 215 career games with the Redskins (1999-2003) and the Broncos (2004-2013). These days, on top of his business ventures, he is an ambassador for Positive Athlete (www.positiveathlete.org), an organization that is dedicated to recognizing the 97% of high school athletes who do not go on to play at the next level by rewarding them for their character, contribution, and community service. He speaks extensively about what it takes to make it to the next level, the importance of being a role model for teammates, and all the different ways athletes can lead from on the field to off the field.     Chris Malleo is a former Northwestern University and professional football player. After retiring from paying, he became head coach at The Peddie School in New Jersey, and led a perennial underachieving team to a #1 national ranking through a system of culture, belief, and standards. While at Peddie, Chris hired an incredible coach named Frankie Kineavy. Frankie was non verbal, and had suffered from cerebral palsy since birth, yet soon Chris, his staff and his players realized that while Frankie was not your typical football coach, he was one of the best leaders any of them had ever met. Chris tells that story in his new book The ChairLeader, a best selling book on leadership, connection, and courage, featuring a foreword by Hall of Fame coach Jay Wright and endorsements from bestselling author Jon Gordon, Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney, and Jersey Mike's Founder and CEO Peter Cancro.     Dr. Vince Minjares is a Program Manager of the Aspen Institute Sports & Society Program with responsibility for driving Project Play's school sports and coaching portfolios. His current work addresses systemic issues in youth sport development with a focus on coaching, athlete development, and player health. Current projects include the Million Coaches Challenge, National ACL Injury Coalition and coach development consulting with youth sports institutions. Vincent holds a Ph.D. in Coaching & Pedagogy from AUT University (Auckland, NZ), an M.A. in Education from U.C. Berkeley, and a B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College. In our conversation today we take a deep dive into his journey as a coach and coach educator, look at the current programs he is working on, and discuss the importance of creating an environment that helps us retain our best coaches.
