  • Now You See Me: Now You Don't & Sisu: Road to Revenge reviews + The Last Frontier & The Chair Company recaps | WSPT Ep 16 - Dec 5, 2025
    Dec 5 2025

This week, we coincidentally review two movie sequels...with colons in the title? We talk about the 3rd offering in the "magician heist" film franchise, Now You See Me: Now You Don't, and Jalmari Helander's sequel to his 2022 hit, Sisu: Road to Revenge.

We're also nearing the end of season for the two shows we've been recapping -- for TV, we cover the penultimate episode of The Last Frontier and the season finale of The Chair Company. Next week, we'll be introducing weekly recaps of AppleTV+ series, Pluribus.

Finally, this is the 2nd to last week of pro wrestling coverage on We Should Pod That before we spin off the Oh No, Ooh Yeah segment to its own podcast! You'll get a preview of the new TV recap format for the most recent episodes of SmackDown and Raw, as well as the usual "event report card" for WWE's most recent PLE, Survivor Series: WarGames.

  • Movies to Watch with Your Family Over the Holidays | WSPT Ep. Special #1
    Nov 26 2025

    It's Episode Special #1!

This week, Sushi and (mostly) Ashley are discussing their fifteen picks for movies to watch with family and friends -- just in time for Thanksgiving and the rest of the holiday season. The list includes several of our favorites from this year (and earlier) that we've either watched or plan to watch with our families, which Ashley has broken down to three "scenario" lists:

    • Movies To Watch With Your Nieces & Nephews (because your friends won't watch "kids movies" with you)
    • Movies for That “Too Full to Move, Extremely Thankful” Moment
    • Movies to Watch After Mom Goes to Bed (because artsy as she may be, some stuff is just too weird for moms)

For each movie, we provide some general details (including content warnings and target audiences), streaming service availability (including the specific services they're currently available on, as of the date of this episode) or if they're still in theaters, and our overall thoughts -- it's like we went ahead and did all the entertainment prep for you!

We sincerely hope that one (or several) of our picks end up being hits with your family and friends -- feel free to comment with any feedback, including your own picks! Hope all celebrating have a great Thanksgiving holiday and we'll catch you again when we're back home for our "normal" weekly episode next Friday, December 5th.

  • Trap House & The Running Man (2025) Reviews + The Last Frontier & The Chair Company Recaps | WSPT Ep 14 - Nov 21, 2025
    Nov 21 2025

We had a thrilling, action-packed past weekend at the movies and we're ready with our reviews of the new Dave Bautista film, Trap House, and Edgar Wright's take and latest adaptation of Stephen King's novel, The Running Man (2025)! For TV, we talk all the big reveals that took place on both of the series we've been watching in our recaps of the latest episodes of The Last Frontier and The Chair Company.

Plus, things ramp up on both of WWE's TV shows, SmackDown and Raw, this week as we move into the last 2 weeks leading up to Survivor Series: War Games. Sushi's got you covered with all the details in the "Oh No, Ooh Yeah," along with announcement regarding some exciting upcoming changes to the segment.

The holidays are just around the corner, so we'll be out-of-town next week for Thanksgiving, but don't worry -- we'll have a special episode that should drop mid-week (more details during this week's episode) and we'll be back with our regular podcast again on Friday, December 5th!

    Nov 14 2025
