    Celebrating 53!!! Blessings for 53 more!!! I AM a writer. I write. I AM as unique as the sun and as essential as the rain. I AM a writer. So, I write. I AM as beautiful as the moon and as soft as the wind. I AM a writer. So, I write now. I AM a writer. So, I will write tomorrow. As I celebrate the date I entered this plane of existence, 53 years ago today, January 11, 1971…I also celebrate the announcement of my newest literary offering, “Petals of Discovery: The Fire Within Volume 1.” This book encompasses several years of thought, inspiration, musing, love, sight and sound. Each poem is a prayer. Each poem is a letter. Each poem is a gift. I AM a writer. An excellent writer. I write not for you, but for myself. I write because I have to. I write because God said to. I write because it is the domain in which I reign. I write because I have an obligation to tell my unique story. I write because I have something of value to say. I enjoy good writing. I celebrate good writers. If you write...write. The planet needs to hear your voice. Thank you for weathering the silent storms of rejection and disinterest. YOU must be your first reader and champion of your work. Hone your craft and share with others.
