  • Anatomy of a Betrayal: The Murder of William Bush
    Oct 8 2025

    Send us a text

    SUMMARY

On Christmas Eve 2023 in Llandaff, Cardiff, 23-year-old William Bush was brutally murdered by his childhood friend Dylan Thomas. Thomas stabbed Bush 37 times, including 21 wounds to the neck, in a frenzied attack at the home they shared.

The night before the killing, Thomas stayed at his grandmother’s home in Rhoose before returning to Llandaff, claiming he needed to check on his dog. Evidence later revealed he had searched online for “anatomy of the neck” before the attack.

At trial, Thomas admitted manslaughter under diminished responsibility but denied murder. In November 2024, a jury found him guilty of murder. He was sentenced in January 2025 to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 19 years.

William’s family described him as a “loyal, funny, and caring” young man with a promising future — a life cut short by senseless violence that left a community reeling and a family shattered.

  • From Bay Area Bombings to North Wales: The Capture of Daniel Andreas San Diego
    Aug 18 2025

    Send us a text

In this episode, we explore the extraordinary case of Daniel Andreas San Diego, the American fugitive who spent more than two decades on the run before his dramatic arrest in rural North Wales in November 2024.

San Diego, a committed animal rights activist and computer specialist from California, was linked to two 2003 bombings targeting companies associated with animal testing. Though no one was injured, the use of nail-packed devices and secondary explosions marked a chilling escalation in extremist tactics. When the FBI closed in, he vanished, eventually becoming the first domestic terrorism suspect placed on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists list.

For 21 years, he lived a ghostlike existence—surfacing in rumours from Hawaii to Europe—before quietly settling in Conwy, North Wales. Locals described him as a reclusive “American man,” unaware he was one of the world’s most sought-after fugitives. His arrest, carried out by armed officers with support from the National Crime Agency, stunned the community and made global headlines.

San Diego now faces extradition to the United States, closing a chapter that blends radical activism, international manhunt, and the quiet landscapes of North Wales.

  • The Hanging Judge and the Skirrid Inn
    Jan 27 2025

    Send us a text

The Skirrid Inn is said to be the most haunted and the oldest in Wales with a history that stretches over centuries. Once a court house and a place of execution, it's little wonder that ghosts are said to walk it's corridors. At one point, the infamous Hanging Judge was said to have graced it's hallways, and hundreds are said to have died.

But is this a story based in history, or is it stranger than fiction?
