In 2001, WWF bought WCW, and with it, their biggest stars. Some debuted immediately (Booker T, DDP), and some years later (Nash, Hall, Hogan, etc.). But arguably their most iconic performer – Sting – stayed away for over a decade, before making a surprise debut in WWE at Survivor Series 2014.
