  • Follow the journey of this middle aged, first responder who is an empty nester and trying to figure out what the hell happens now. We will talk about health, nutrition, mental health, maneuvering through life's stages with at least a little bit of style and grace...and how to recovery when all of that falls to shit. This show is part self care for me and part teaching you what I have found works and what doesn't. Hopefully it will be a whole lotta me learning from others because I surely don't have all the answers.

    Do you ever take on way to much at time? Putting unnecessary pressures to met arbitrary deadlines and goals because you think ‘it will never happen if it doesn’t happen now’? That’s what I have been doing for the last 3-4 months and it finally caught up with me. My body and my spirit had had enough and totally shut down on me.  This forced me to step back and get a little perspective.  This episode is a little raw and a lot vulnerable.   Maybe you can relate. If not, hopefully it gives you insight to those of us who are our own worded enemies and critics.  Either way, I hope you like it and I hope you stay with me for the journey to come.
