In a political twist few saw coming, Rob Jetten's D66 (Democratics 66) has defeated Geert Wilders’ PVV (Party for Freedom), marking a new chapter for Dutch and European politics.

He was elected to city council as party leader twice and joined the Obama campaign in New Hampshire in 2016.
