  • Letting go: Parents' Role in College Selection and Giving Kids Independence

This time, we discuss what is the "right" time to give our kids independence and when it's too late. Depriving our kids of appropriate levels of independence at young  age also deprives them of the self-esteem that comes from trying something new and deciding that they can do more than they had originally thought.
