    After a horrific Hamas terrorist attack, Israel is at war. We talk about the current conflict, trying to give context for "both sides" and examining issues like: how progressives are responding in the US, the role of religion and apocalypticism, how this situation is different from others involving aggrieved people groups (civil rights movement, apartheid, etc.) and more.

    Andy Stanley is causing controversy once again after his Unconditional conference, which struck many as "too affirming" on LGBTQ issues. We discuss and go deep on the broader topic, how optics and truth relate re: the faith and evangelism, whether LGBTQ issues in the church could rightly be "don't ask, don't tell," how our own views have evolved, etc.

    We also do a bit of general pop culture riffing, involving Calvin & Hobbes, Metallica and the Detroit Lions : )
