  • What Do You Stand For?
    Nov 14 2025

In this episode, we dive into the topic of values, what they are, how they shape who we are, and how understanding them can completely change the way we make decisions and move through life. We often talk about “values,” but rarely stop to define what they truly mean to us. Together, we explore what it means to live in alignment with what matters most, and how one of the most powerful values we can hold is self-respect. Because when we lose sight of our values, we can start to feel resentful.

We talk about how to identify your core values and what they really mean to you, why living out of alignment often leads to burnout and people-pleasing, and how reconnecting with your sense of self through self-respect and boundaries can help you find peace again. There’s also a simple reflection exercise to help you realign with what truly matters.

When we start living by our values, life doesn’t magically get easier, but it over time, we learn and grow from them. We stop chasing approval and start living with intention, confidence, and calm. So grab a notebook or just listen in, and let’s take some time to come hone into what matters most: ourselves.

  • How The Body Responds to Stress
    Nov 7 2025

This episode explains how the body’s stress response often becomes over-activated by everyday situations. Our nervous system can misinterpret modern stressors like notifications or work pressure as real danger, triggering the same “fight, flight, or freeze” reaction once needed to escape predators.

For people with anxiety, this alarm system is especially sensitive. Their bodies may react strongly to harmless events, creating “false alarms” where the body believes it’s in danger before the mind can assess what’s really happening. Over time, this cycle can lead to constant exhaustion and a disconnect between body and mind.

The episode explores how we can retrain the nervous system to feel safe again. Grounding techniques, intentional rest, slow breathing, and supportive relationships help teach the body that it is no longer under threat. With practice, the nervous system learns to stand down, reducing overreaction and restoring balance.

Ultimately, understanding these reactions helps us approach anxiety with compassion rather than frustration. By listening to the body’s signals and responding gently, we can build a greater sense of safety and feel more at ease in daily life.

  • What is Post Partum Depression?
    Nov 3 2025

    *Time Stamp* 4:12- 5:45 warning

Why do so many new mothers suffer in silence? In this week’s episode, we have a heartfelt conversation about postpartum depression. What it really is, why it’s often misunderstood, and how societal expectations keep many women from speaking up.

From the hormonal rollercoaster after birth to the hidden emotional struggles behind the “perfect mom” image, this episode explores the difference between the baby blues, postpartum depression, and postpartum psychosis — and the stigma that still surrounds each one.

We also discuss powerful insights from a short interview, and real online communities where mothers tell their unfiltered truths: what it feels like to lose yourself after giving birth, to love your baby deeply and still feel detached, or to fear judgment for not being “grateful enough.”

This conversation isn’t just for parents, it’s for anyone who wants to better understand, support, and listen. Because no one should have to navigate motherhood, or mental health, in silence.

  • What Vape Stores Aren't Telling You
    Oct 17 2025

It all started with those flashing signs that I couldn't ignore that said K-R-A-T-O-M. From there I went down a rabbit hole into the world of vape shops, Delta-8/9 THC, and the blurry line between what legal and what is actually safe. In this episode, we'll talk about loopholes that let these unregulated products hit the shelves, why people turn to them in times of need, and what "regulation" really means when it comes to protecting our health. Whether you've seen these signs around or never heard of Kratom yourself, this one's worth a listen.
