Lucy Worsley has become a household name through our screens as a presenter of history programmes for the BBC and as an author of several best-selling books, including Jane Austen at Home. Beginning her career working for English Heritage before becoming chief curator of Historic Royal Palaces, Lucy Worsley published her latest book, a biography of Queen Victoria, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of her birth. Lucy Worsley talks to us about our continual fascination with the monarchy, why she loves sharing history so much and how in love Queen Victoria and Prince Albert really were.

Alongside her academic position at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis at UCL, where her research into the patterns of human behaviour can apply to a huge range of social problems, Fry’s expertise has also led to the development of several BBC documentaries including City in the Sky and her long-running BBC Radio 4 show, The Curious Cases of Rutherford and Fry. Her latest book, Hello World, was published in September 2018.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to discuss his latest book, Enlightenment Now, is experimental psychologist, author and Harvard professor Steven Pinker. One of the world’s leading authorities on language and the mind, Steven Pinker is the author of highly acclaimed books such as The Better Angels of Our Nature and The Language Instinct. Winner of numerous awards for his research and books, the two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist published his 10th title, Enlightenment Now, in February 2018.

David Suchet, veteran actor best-known for his iconic portrayal of Agatha Christie’s Poirot, joins us to discuss the release of his new audio series, David Suchet's Questions of Faith. Exploring the differences which divide and the similarities which unite the three Abrahamic religions, David talks to prominent figures within the Jewish, Christian and Islamic communities, searching for answers to the devastating wars that have been waged against one another. In this exclusive interview, David reflects back on his findings, the many eye-opening conversations he’s had along the way and his hopes for a peaceful future.

Maajid Nawaz joins Robin Morgan in the Audible Studios for an exclusive interview. Maajid Nawaz is the author of Radical, an Amazon number one best-selling memoir which details his journey into and out of Islamic extremism. Maajid was imprisoned in Egypt for his involvement with the Islamist activist group Hizb ut-Tahrir; the four years he spent inside changed his views immeasurably.

Joining us at Audible Studios is James Windust, writer, public speaker and model. Windust graduated from UCA Epsom with a degree in fashion management and marketing and within six months of their graduation was named as one of London's 1,000 most influential people by The Evening Standard. Windust is a freelance writer and has written pieces for British GQ, Gay Times, The Independent and many more. As well as being a writer, Windust is also a public speaker and has spoken at events for Tommy Hilfiger and TEDxLondonWomen.

Ty Franck and Daniel Abraham both live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where they met through mutual friends and began writing and gaming together. Having already built the world of The Expanse for a game (it was initially created for an MMORPG pitch), the pair set out on a task to bring the world to life through fiction. Their first novel, Leviathon Wakes, was published in 2011 and was nominated for the 2012 Hugo Boss Award for Best Novel and the 2012 Locus Award for Best Science Fiction Novel.

Rory Stewart has had a far-reaching career over a multitude of different countries and positions. Having been educated at Eton and then Oxford University, Stewart went on to join the Foreign Office where he worked primarily in military intervention and international development, serving in Jakarta and Southern Iraq. Following these postings, Stewart walked alone across Afghanistan, relying on its people to house him on his way. He consequently wrote a book about this journey, and has gone on to become a bestselling author.

Joining us at the Audible studios is Sir Lenny Henry, actor, writer, presenter and comedian. Henry has spent decades in the British public eye on television, on our radios, big screens and as a stand-up comedian, often touring internationally. He co-founded Comic Relief in 1985 and has taken part in almost every year’s show since then, the charity raising over £1 billion so far! Henry has documented his career in his books, and most recently penned Rising to the Surface, which takes a look at his hectic life during the ‘80s and ‘90s.

Coming to prominence in the mid-'60s as the founder and lead singer of rock band The Who, Roger Daltrey has had an iconic career spanning more than 50 years. Famed for his stage presence and powerful voice, Roger has also carved a solo career as well as an acting one. His memoir, Roger Daltrey: Thanks a Lot Mr. Kibblewhite, was published in October 2018. Roger Daltrey talks to us about the time he was chucked out of The Who, making his own Fender guitar and discovering he had three more children after his 50th birthday.

Kay’s books, looking back on his medical career, give an insight into the trials and tribulations of life as a junior doctor. His latest title, Undoctored, looks into Kay’s life as a medical student and how things have been since leaving the medical world. We chatted to Adam Kay about the one good thing Matt Hancock did, how mental health is regarded in medicine, and whether or not Adam would say he is a bad patient.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Katherine Ryan, Canadian comedian, actress, presenter and writer. Ryan moved to the UK in 2008 and began her career as a comedian with stand-up shows. Her debut television appearance was in 2012 on 8 Out of 10 Cats, and since then, she has been a regular on panel shows such as Mock the Week, Would I Lie To You and Have I Got News for You, as well as touring with her own stand-up routines. Ryan is also an actress, appearing in sitcoms such as Campus and Episodes.

Phelps-Roper married Chad Fjelland in 2016, and together they have a daughter. Phelps-Roper is no longer a practicing Christian. Since leaving the Westboro Baptist Church, Phelps-Roper has lobbied to overcome divisions and hatred between religious and political divides. In 2017 she presented a TED talk discussing her experiences of being raised within the church and about her journey towards leaving. This year, Megan Phelps-Roper has written a book, Unfollow, sharing her inside look at the church and the families within it.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Heather Morris, an author whose debut novel, The Tattooist of Auschwitz, was a huge success. Morris grew up in New Zealand and has split her adult life between there and Australia. Morris worked in the Social Work Department at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne from 1995-2017. During this time, Morris decided to pursue her love of storytelling and enrolled in a professional scriptwriting course. In 2003, her life and career path changed. She was introduced to Lale Sokolov, upon whose story she based The Tattooist of Auschwitz.

Joining us at Audible Studios is ex-Special Forces soldier, and member of the director staff for SAS: Who Dares Wins, Ollie Ollerton. He has penned a novel, Break Point, to share his life story and secrets for achievement. Break Point travels through Ollerton's life to depict his most challenging moments, from a freak childhood accident, through his time in Iraq and Baghdad, including high-speed shoot-outs, counter-terrorism and humanitarian heroics.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Dan Abnett, British comic book writer and novelist, who has contributed to series for Marvel, DC Comics and Games Workshop's Black Library. Abnett is one of the Black Library's main authors, and certainly one of their best sellers. Writing within the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Abnett has authored infamous series such as Horus Heresy, Gaunt's Ghosts and Eisenhorn. Abnett has also written prolifically for Marvel and DC, as well as 2000 AD.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Alex Bertie, YouTube vlogger of his transgender journey and author of Trans Mission: My Quest to a Beard. When Alex was born, doctors took one look and put an 'F' for female on the birth certificate, based on genitals. When Alex was 15 he realised he was a transgender man, through many years of struggling with identity. After coming out to family and friends, Alex battled the health-care system in order to take male hormones, have surgery, change his name and grow a beard.

Joining us at Audible Studios is television presenter, author and teaching fellow Emma Dabiri, who has published her first book, Don't Touch My Hair. This book is all about why black hair matters and how it can be seen as a map of decolonisation. Dabiri takes us through the significant times, from pre-colonial Africa through the Harlem Renaissnace and Black Power and on to today's Natural Hair Movement.

Joining us at Audible Studios for a second time is acclaimed historian and best-selling author Alison Weir, who has drawn on a range of sources to produce a startling image of Anna of Kleve: a charming woman loved by all who knew her, even by the King who rejected her. We spoke about Weir's fascination with history and research, the rumours that circulated about Henry VIII’s fourth wife, Anna von Kleve, and which Tudor queen she’d most like to be able to speak to.
