Seemingly out of the blue, the narcissist cheats. You don’t realize it, but all the while throughout the whole relationship, the narcissist was cheating. He was doing little things here and there that might have given you clues that he was cheating. He covered many of them up. He couldn’t let on to you that he was cheating, or that he was grooming another mate, or that he was looking for your replacement all this while. After all, he views himself as a "good guy", and nothing you do or say will change his view of himself.

If you have been around a narcissist for any length of time, you become keenly aware that he is doing things behind your back. His covert tactics are meant to beat you to the punch, and he is nearly always two steps ahead of you. The narcissist stops at nothing to demean, devalue, and destroy those around him. And he has propaganda and an agenda that he is always delivering on an overt or covert basis.

This audiobook seeks to provide you with the deficiencies that can occur between a neurotypical child and a parent who has Asperger syndrome or who falls on the autism spectrum. We hope to educate adult children who grew up with an aspie as to why they might be experiencing Complex-PTSD, who may have felt alienated as children, and who are largely confused in their world. This audiobook also seeks to educate those who may mentor or work with an NT child who was born into an aspie family or who has constant exposure to aspies.

We have all met men who have the Peter Pan syndrome. Many of these men are also narcissistic and self-absorbed simply by the nature of the Peter Pan syndrome. A man who is stuck in his path through life as a boy never matures emotionally. He carries around his childhood sense of himself throughout his life. In many instances, his tastes do not grow or change. The way that he interacts with others does not grow or change. He is still stuck as a 12-year-old boy, or sometimes even younger, in his emotional development.

Many people are shackled by their own rigidity and perfectionism. This book was written for those with OCPD as well as the loved ones of those with OCPD. We will explain what OCPD is and discuss its causes. We will then go into the various ways that a person with OCPD can seek to be more open, less rigid and perfectionistic, and experience less overall frustration with life.

Many of us know people whom society and doctors would consider personality disordered or mentally ill. We often use these labels for diagnoses and treatment. Sometimes the labels aren't accurate due to difficulties in testing for disorders and due to the differing views of the physicians and psychoanalysts. Many of my readers email me with lifetime symptoms of anxiety and depression. They feel as though they missed out on their childhood. They are frustrated, and their relationships with others are suffering because of it. They are struggling to have a relationship with one of the most important people in their life: their father.

It is likely that you have been recently told by a spouse, friend, family member, or health-care provider that you have OCPD. What does that mean to you? You have been the same way all of your life. All of your family members have likely been this way as well. You involve yourself deeply in your work and in ensuring that your family and yourself are well provided for. Your employer seems to be happy with your hard work and perseverance. You are stable and grounded.

Anxiety can escalate to another level. When a person is exposed to traumatic or negative events where they feel little or no control in the outcome, the anxiety can turn into post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). If you have enough recurring events in your life that are traumatic, you may even be diagnosed with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD).

There is clearly an epidemic of narcissism - a contagion of sorts - that is occurring across the globe. Narcissism is generally handed down from one generation to the next. It is said that nearly one in four people has narcissistic tendencies. It is likely that the number of narcissists will only continue to increase. Many people wonder why or how the narcissist seems to have two distinct personalities.

Many of my listeners grew up in broken homes. They have wondered for many years what went wrong. They don't feel like their childhoods were happy, but they can't quite put their fingers on what caused the discontent. On the surface their parents tried to make it look like everything was picture perfect. Other people outside of the family might even have believed it. The children often grow up blaming themselves for everything that went wrong at home. However, this is far from the truth.
