I know it because the witch inside of me is already dreaming up potions to heal him. I know it because the prophecy predicted that I would find someone like him. Cursed wolves are beasts with primal needs, to hunt, to kill, to mate. And something about my scent is triggering his darkest instincts. Strangely, I am not afraid of him. Instead, I feel attracted to him.

He bullied me into an arranged marriage. Humiliated and tormented me until the shame got the best of me. I escaped him, but now he’s here, living in my town, and working in my office. And now that we meet again…it’s about time I got some revenge. I know the game he plays, and it’s not easy for me to win it. I summon all my hatred for him, trying to not let him get under my skin.
