Ziel der Geheimgesellschaft ist es, demjenigen, der ihnen durch den sinkenden Goldpreis die Geschäfte verdirbt, dauerhaft das Handwerk zu legen. Dabei sind sie bereit, auch bis zum Äußersten zu gehen, um ihren Wohlstand nicht zu verlieren. Ein Umstand, den Rasputin sich zunutze macht, um seine gefährlichen Pläne in die Tat umzusetzen.
