The year is 1942. The war rages all across the Pacific theater. Battles have been fought from the Hawaiian Islands to the city of Kunming in China, in Australia, and in New Guinea. Cities have been destroyed, raided, and many areas lie in ruins. Large naval battles have been fought, and dozens upon dozens of ships have been sunk to the bottom. Imperial Japan reigns supreme everywhere. The Allies are almost out of ships. But America has not yet given up on ultimate victory. Its factories are producing ships at a never before seen speed. Large fleets will soon roam the seas.

Jake Jessup and April Flowers are once again thrust into a deadly game of genetic manipulation and betrayal as they track down the latest wave of monstrous creations. The pair find themselves in Tucson, Arizona, where someone has resurrected the giant mutant apex predator program. But the reemergence of a deadly nemesis brings the game to a whole new level.

The Year is 1942. Imperial Japan conquered most of the Pacific in a blitzkrieg campaign that stunned the world. The Dutch East Indies, The Philippines, New Guinea, New Britain, Hawaii, the Fijis, and countless other territories have fallen. With landings in Australia, raids on the U.S. Mainland, and campaigns in Burma, the Imperial forces have expanded the Japanese realm and still look unstoppable. The Allies are now regrouping from the catastrophic losses they have taken in the last six months.

The Genetics Investigation Team has been shut down. Section 17 and the Special Projects Animal Asset Division no longer exist. FDA Special Agent April Flowers and Memphis Police Department Sergeant Jake Jessup have gone their separate ways, each running from a troubled past, and each thinking they had seen the last of mutant apex predators. They were wrong. Very wrong.

Ecological disaster strikes the rolling hills of west central Kentucky after a corrupt landowner, blinded by greed and power, releases a monstrous menace upon an unsuspecting public. Can Jake Jessup and April Flowers stop the creatures before they cause a catastrophe of cataclysmic proportions?
