Originally produced for Chicago Theatres on the Air, Shakespeare's Greatest Hits contains some of the most memorable scenes from the Bard's most profound works: Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, Othello, and many more. It was performed by Chicago's Shakespeare Repertory, including Amy Irving and Kevin Gudhal, in 1993.

In a remote farming valley, a small group of survivors struggle to endure the endless winter. Their days are shaped by the bite of wind, the ache of hunger, and the constant threat of what lurks beyond the drifted fields. Dangerous outsiders roam the ruins- brutes, scavengers, and worse. Even the land itself seems to be hiding something ancient beneath the snow.

Known as a "poet of the people," Carl Sandburg wrote verses infused with soulfulness and lyric grace, and his work was characterized with a love and compassion for the common man.
