In Search of a Right-Brained Computer is the story of my search to find a computer for my right-brained wife. Since I'm left-brained, this was perhaps a futile attempt. Yet I pursued it. What I found was what makes right- and left-brained people ask the same questions while asking different questions. I explore each of the main questions one might ask when purchasing a computer. I then go through a computer system I designed in an attempt to design a right-brained computer. Then I analyze where it came close to meeting its mark and where it fell short.

Shortly after the turn of the century, my wife, Terry, and I moved to the mountains of Colorado. Shortly after that, I wrote this humorous story about our lives and how my hero wife lived in spite of the debilitating illness of MCS - multiple chemical sensitivity. Terry lives with the severe face pain, the mind fog, the lack of energy. And she swears every time she's out for a walk and somebody is doing their laundry with some fragrant detergent - her biggest bane. Sometimes she falters and doesn't bear it well, but to me, she's always a hero. This is her story.

So, now Bob and Dilly had been best friends for a few days. They were playing in Bob's yard. They were playing trucks and "hide to the count of three" and "run this way and that" and "hide facing the house" and neat things like that. They were trying to think of what to play next. What would you want to play next? Bob yelled, "Run for your life! The Huggers are coming!" And Bob and Dilly ran for their lives.

It was not surprising that Brunettes said something together. They said and did everything in unison. It was this request for a name that was so surprising. They had a name!

Xeechagillapxtuurii jumps into the raging current to be carried downstream in search of his vision. He finds his vision, including the one he is looking for. But this world is totally foreign to him. Nobody understands him. Somehow he must gain her trust and communicate with them. Somehow he must get her to want to come back to his world to help him save it. Sylvia is a college student. When she sees a hippie being driven towards her truck, she responds as she always does when she sees someone in need - she opens the door and pull some blankets from the back for him to wrap up in.

From across the room, he noticed her elbow. As he traced the curve of her elbow with his eyes, he noticed something stenciled there. At this distance, he should not have been able to tell that that something was a flower. But he could, so he gave up reasoning for reality. His eye started tracing the lines of the flower. He was only vaguely aware that the flower was drawn on a woman's elbow some 20 yards away.

Danwe lived in a vase. It was not a regularly shaped vase. Danwe's vase had a tall cylindrical section. That is to say it was taller than it was wide.
