"I think that there's been some kind of mix up." That's my first clue that my stay in Lilac Harbor isn't going to go according to plan. There's been a mistake with my rental booking and now instead of having the charming little bungalow on the shore all to myself, I've got a not so charming roommate. Yates Warner. He's a grump in every sense of the word, but there's something about the guarded translator that tugs at my heartstrings. I'm determined to make the best of this situation, and who knows? Maybe my grumpy giant and I can even be friends.

Having brothers is detrimental to my sanity. One is safely tucked away on the mantel behind my desk, his face not quite what it should be on the urn. My twin? Sad story that. Boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, and girl marries a Shifter. My twin ran away. That leaves me to run the show and hunt down the Witches who just can't stop killing us. We are also at war with the Shifters, who killed my oldest brother, and by order of the Gods Council, I'm not supposed to set one toe in Shifter territory.

I can say all my dreams have come true. I've not only met and fell in love with the man of my fantasies, Alex Austin...but he loves me back. On top of that, my goal of becoming a 'famous' musician seems to also be a thing. As much as I want this, I do fear our new fame is a result of my relationship with Alex. That the bands only known because of who the members are dating, or because of ex-member, Mia, and her infamous behavior, or even my assault at the end of the summer tour.
