Lost By Magic

Frankie Walker is lost. A single father who has recently made a career move, he feels burnt out from the daily grind of life and distant from his magical heritage as a witch. So when he is approached by Zanabar, a mysterious sorcerer who asks him for help retrieving a genie lamp from 1924 before it falls into the wrong hands, Frankie accepts.

When a prominent businessman suddenly dies from suicide, Evelyn suspects supernatural foul play after discovering that he only recently catapulted to success. Later, Frankie witnesses another man narrowly escape his own death moments after he was seen crying about his misfortune. They soon discover that Lady Luck is behind the change of fate. And while she dishes out good luck to those who need it, after a year their luck abruptly turns bad and often leads to their deaths.

After thinking that they’re hunting a crossroads demon, Frankie and his friends discover that Hecate is in town, and she’s after innocent souls. The gatekeeper of the underworld sends phantoms, who take the shape of someone from the victim’s past, and torments them until they decide to trade in their soul to end the suffering.
