Master of Thieves

From a childhood as an abandoned orphan to life as one of the city’s most skilled burglars, master thief Rafiq has long lived high off the wealth of Avanasia–its trade, its jewels, and its women. Master thief Rafiq has assembled his crew of beautiful thieves—goblin-girl Qadira, elven archer Aliya, human Sahar, dabaji Iesha, and ex-courtesan Zahra—and set his sights on bigger and richer targets. But all is not well in the city. For in Avanasia, the priests of the Temple of Ashes keep a close watch on the faith of its citizens. No worship except that of the Eight Dead Gods is permitted. To believe anything else is heresy, punishable by death.

But when he steals an ancient heirloom blade from a powerful merchant, he sets in motion a series of events that will shift the delicate balance of power in the city.
