Singing Falls Witches

If there was one thing Torie Bliss knew, it was that her marriage and life of luxury were going to last for ever. Until they didn't. Torie finds herself doing the one thing she never imagined a woman over the age of forty would ever have to do: moving in with her mother. But that is exactly what she has to do as she picks up what's left of her life and dignity, and moves to Singing Falls. Little does Torie realize that not only had her mother settled into a town of supernaturals, but she herself was a witch, and it was Torie's destiny to take up the magical calling.

Torie Bliss thought that being over 40 and having your husband dump you over your favorite meal would be rock bottom. Then she learned that the perfect life he had created for them was built on a foundation of lies. A very public fall from grace leaves her penniless and homeless. Thinking she had nothing else to lose, she decides to move in with her estranged mother in a picturesque town in the mountains of North Carolina. Only to discover that her mother is quite the witch. Literally.

Torie Bliss had accepted the gifts that were bestowed on witches of her lineage. Gifts that manifested themselves after her 40th birthday. Gifts that had come in handy when trying to solve the case of a supernatural serial killer. Now, all she wanted was to settle down in the scenic, mountain-side town of Singing Falls. And maybe get to know a certain werewolf that seems to have developed a thing for her. But a knock at her door forces her to deal with someone from her past. Someone that is opening Torie's world up to a whole new level of danger and darkness.

There is never a good time for a witch to lose her powers. But to lose your magic just when you and your friends need it to survive might be the worst timing of all. But even in her despair, Torie Bliss has noticed some strange goings-on in Singing Falls. The supernatural community seems to be at war with itself, and the human inhabitants of the community are not exactly acting like normal humans. Without her powers Torie is at a loss as to how she can help them. But there is one person who may be able to help her.

Under the bewitching glow of a full moon, Torie and her friends embark on a midnight quest to gather a rare, enchanted herb that blossoms only once a month. But their moonlit adventure takes a chilling turn when they stumble upon a lifeless body, leading them down a harrowing path of horrors beyond their wildest nightmares. As a new coven of hedge witches encroaches on their territory, Torie and Jasmin find themselves racing against time to unravel the truth behind a deadly assault targeting their own.

Torie Bliss hasn't had a full night's sleep in weeks. Dark dreams claw at her mind, visions she hopes are only echoes of old trauma. But when eerie magic begins to ripple through Singing Falls, Torie starts to suspect her nightmares aren't just memories, they're warnings.
