Alternate History War

This is the second installment in the Wars of the United States series. The Vietnam War follows the story of countless soldiers, sailors, and Marines who gave their lives in the fight to preserve freedom for future generations of Americans.

With the fall and sack of Rome, the barbarian hordes of the east claimed the lands of the Western Empire and brought forth an age of tyranny. Against this darkness, two heroes will rise. They come from worlds apart. Bound together by magic and cursed by fate. December 1943. The momentum of the Second World War has shifted in favor of the Allies, and American confidence in the security situation has soared in the past few months. City lights and radio stations are back on across the East Coast as normalcy has returned to America. While Germany may be down, though, it isn’t out, and the Luftwaffe has developed the technology to get Nazi Germany back in the war.

In this alternate history of the American frontier and the Jacksonian era, a small change takes place in the Battle of the Horseshoe Bend during the War of 1812. What results is a cascade of new developments that becomes an avalanche. In our world, Ensign Sam Houston, just turned 21, led the charge on the creek barricade in that battle and almost died from a terrible wound that took him a year to recover from. In this world, his wound is minor, so he is able to continue fighting the British—and develop his close relationship with Andrew Jackson much sooner.

Sam, Alan, Alice and Aurora continue to fight against the German forces occupying England. The guerrillas sabotage SS plans to build a concentration camp and also prepare for L-Day: the Allied liberation of the Occupied South. The partisans take steps to deal with a traitor amongst their ranks.

This is the story of two teenage British boys in a Britain occupied by the Germans, which is what might have happened if the Nazis had successfully carried out their plans to invade Britain under Operation Sea Lion in the 1940s. Alan Mitchell and Sam Roberts study at St. John's Academy in the fictional Cambridgeshire market town of Hereward. Their Home Guard unit is defeated and the Schutzstaffel (S.S.) massacres the prisoners but the boys escape and return to German occupied Hereward.

The Modern Day. The Confederate States of America stretches from Richmond to Los Angeles, locked in perennial struggle with its Cold War rival, the United States. Slavery is legal. Those who endure it fight in fierce pursuit of liberty. As these dueling nations face off, two enslaved Americans—Atticus and Clara Brooke—emerge as courageous leaders at Rosewood Manor, a sweeping plantation in the foothills of Virginia.

Alan, Sam, Alice and Aurora continue to attack German forces who are taking part in Operation Thor: the invasion of Scotland. The Partisans discover that the Fascist Government has begun a program to exterminate all disabled orphan children and that an SS Death Squad is coming to Britain with a secret list of targets to eliminate. The Resistance plan—to sabotage Operation Sea lion anniversary celebrations.

In this sequel to Young Lions, three British teenagers—Alan, Sam and Alice—continue to valiantly resist the Nazis and the British Fascists. A Spanish Civil War vendetta spills blood onto the streets of Hereward. Alan and Sam discover that Paul Mason has survived the St. George's Day Massacre. The Resistance attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler and Alice is kidnapped by the S.S. Alan joins the Blackshirts and tries to sabotage the German invasion of Scotland.

Alan, Sam, Alice and Aurora operate behind enemy lines on L-Day: the Allied liberation of the Occupied South. The partisans suffer grievous losses linking up with friendly forces. Hitler mercilessly crushes an SS coup. The Brotherhood of the Purifying Flame takes advantage of the chaos to pursue its Holy Mission.

Alan, Sam, Alice and Aurora continue to fight against the German Forces occupying Hereward. The Nazis plan to achieve a Final Solution of the Jewish problem in Great Britain. The partisans carry out a daring and audacious mission to kidnap two top ranking enemy officers visiting Occupied England.
