It wouldn’t be the holidays without a little extra sparkle - and nobody does sparkles quite like Miss Elva. When she decides to debut her Spring resort wear line during a fashion show at Lucky’s, all of Tequila Key turns out for the holiday event. Althea doesn’t know which is more shocking - the fact that the models are wearing glitter boy shorts and Santa hats, or the fact that she kind of wants to see her husband, Trace, in said shorts. Either way, all bets are off when Miss Elva’s eye candy for the night takes a sip of her drink and gets poisoned.

The Little Valley library is shutting its doors due to a terrible combination of anonymous threats and a lack of funding. The sheriff is stumped in the investigation of who is sending the threats, so amateur sleuths, Anna and Beth, step in to help.

Trapped in Paradise, Washington by a snowstorm, Lily and Judy fear for their lives. A sudden blizzard confines a group of shelter seekers to a lodge that has been closed for the season. Sid Swann, a selectman used to getting his own way, confronts Jay in public about his decision and heated words are exchanged. The next morning, Sid is found murdered in his office at the town hall and Jay is the number one suspect.
