Margaret Alice Murray (1863-1963) was an archaeologist, anthropologist, Egyptologist, historian, and the first woman to serve as a lecturer in archaeology in Britain. Oscar Wilde was sentenced to two years in prison, part of which he spent in Reading Gaol.
