2009年から「別冊少年マガジン」で連載が開始され、人気を博している、諫山創 による同名ベストセラー漫画を樋口真嗣が監督。樋口とは『日本沈没』（06） 『のぼうの城』（12）『巨神兵東京に現わる』（12）の特撮でも組んでいる尾上 克郎が特撮セカンドユニット監督を務め、近年多くの映画を特殊造型で支え、監 督作『虎影』も現在公開中の西村喜廣が特殊造型プロデューサーを担っている。 脚本は『ＧＡＮＴＺ』（11）等で知られる渡辺雄介と、映画評論家の町山智浩が 脚本を担当し、二部作で完結予定。今回はその前編であり、タイトルは『進撃の 巨人ATTACK ON TITAN』。 原作とおおまかな設定は同じなれど、シチュエーションやキャラクターの位置づ けは変えて、一時間半のサイズに構築し直している。。(本文より） 切通理作の「映画の友よ」はこちらから→http://yakan-hiko.com/risaku.html
