Benny and Henry are working all summer at Furman’s, the biggest store in town, but they hadn’t expected that solving mysteries would be part of their job! When an expensive vase disappears, the salespeople receive odd notes, and the jewelry display is tampered with, it’s up to Benny to uncover the truth!

The Aldens are helping a local carpenter build a giant yo-yo that could break a world record! But when plans are stolen, it’s clear someone doesn’t want this yo-yo to be built. Can the Boxcar Children save the day?

Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny used to live alone in a boxcar. Now they have a home with their grandfather, and they're fixing up their boxcar so they can ride it in the big Greenfield Founder's Day parade. There's just one problem: Someone has stolen the boxcar... with their dog Watch in it! If only they can find the missing boxcar, it will lead them to Watch.

The Aldens are so excited when they get to meet other ballonists, learn how hot air balloons work, and even help the crew launch a balloon. Then, things start to go wrong. Someone is trying to ruin the rally, and the Boxcar Children might not get the chance to ride in a hot air balloon after all - unless they solve the mystery in time.

Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny are going to visit a castle! Built long ago, the castle is now being turned into a museum. As the Boxcar Children help to restore it, they see mysterious lights and hear strange music. Faces appear in windows—and then disappear. But when they receive a mysterious message signed by the “Tattletale”, they realize that not everything is as it seems. The Aldens are helping out at the Greenfield Ice Cream Barn. They are learning to make ice cream and creating some new flavors. But they soon notice that the ice cream isn’t the only thing getting mixed up at the Ice Cream Barn. It appears that someone wants to shut the shop down! Can the Boxcar Children sort out this sticky mess before the Ice Cream Barn gets licked?

When Grandfather’s friend bought Skeleton Point, she invited the Alden children to help her fix it up. But this empty mansion is even spookier than it looks. The Aldens are going to visit their cousins Joe and Alice. To the children’s delight, Joe and Alice live near a wonderful amusement park. The park holds everything the Boxcar Children could ask for—a beautiful merry-go-round, lots of rides and games, all the cotton candy they can eat—and a mystery!

The Aldens are spending a weekend at Goldwin University for Grandfather’s college reunion. The children are fascinated by the mysterious clock tower overshadowing campus and they soon learn that the tower might hold the key to a valuable secret from the past! Aunt Jane takes the Aldens to stay with her friend, Kay, who owns an old, shabby motel in Florida. Kay is ready to sell the motel, when the children offer to help fix it up and put it back in business. But they soon learn that someone is trying to make sure it stays out of business—forever.
