When Jessie and her friends decide to go camping as part of the Weekend in the Woods event, it doesn't take long for them to start discovering strange clues that could have something to do with a hiker who went missing years ago. Soon after they begin their investigation, they start receiving threatening messages from someone who wants them out of the woods―immediately. Could someone be trying to cover up what really happened to the missing hiker? It's up to Jessie to dig up the truth.

One day in the park, the Aldens’ dog, Watch, comes across a mysterious box with a note inside. “Congratulations!” the note says. “You’ve found it!” The box is part of a game called Geocaching. Soon, Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny are searching all over town for hidden boxes and making friends with other kids in the geocaching club. But is one of the club members a thief?

Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny are working in a general store to help out a friend of Aunt Jane’s. It seems to the children that the young girl who works in the store is behaving very strangely. She seems nervous and won’t answer any questions about her past. Then a strange man comes to the store asking about her. What secret is the mystery girl hiding?

When the Aldens first arrive in Elbow Bend, they meet Kate Frances, who tells them all sorts of ghost stories about the town! The scariest tale is about a ghost dog who howls at midnight and appears to warn people of danger! The Aldens think it is just a story until they hear dogs all over Elbow Bend howling at midnight. Does the ghost dog really exist or is someone playing a trick on them? The Boxcar Children are determined to find out.

When the Boxcar Children help out in a local garden, they dig up one strange thing after another! First, the tomato plants seem to move every day. How can that be? Then the Aldens follow the clues to an unsolved bank robbery, and it's clear that a very big mystery is growing in Greenfield.

The Aldens visit an old Kansas inn that’s full of secrets! Nobody knows why a famous photographer visited the inn just to take a single picture. And what about the other legendary guest—a heroic young stranger who’d come west on an “orphan train?” A long-lost riddle just might solve all these mysteries!

The Boxcar Children and their grandfather are going to New Orleans. The Aldens like exploring the city. Most of all, they like helping Grandfather's friend clean up her old, dusty bookstore. They discover lots of interesting things in the store, especially a beautiful set of fairy tales. But then mysterious things start to happen. One of the books in the set is missing! Someone is after something the Boxcar Children have. Will they be able to solve this new, exciting mystery?

The Aldens visit Goldwin University, where Grandfather attended college. The old library is about to be torn down. But legend says the stone gargoyles guarding the roof of the old building will do anything to protect it - even fly. When the creatures begin appearing outside the windows, people are terrified. But the Boxcar Children think there is another reason the gargoyles are turning up in places they shouldn't. And they're determined to figure it out.

The Boxcar Children are going on vacation to Dragon's Mouth Cavern. The four Aldens like rock hunting in the area, until Benny finds a sinkhole that leads to the underground caves. While exploring the caves, they realize that someone doesn't want them there. But why?

Clayton Hollow does the best snowboarding tricks! But someone's playing a trick on him by stealing his snowboard. Can the Aldens help him?

The Boxcar Children learn lots of interesting things about the Navajos - but best of all is a legend about an ancient Native American village that once existed nearby. Curious, the children begin digging there and uncover some valuable artifacts. But it seems someone wants the village to stay buried!

The Aldens are excited to visit their friend, Seymour Curtis, who lives on a farm that's rumored to be haunted! When they arrive, they learn that valuable antiques have gone missing. Is the thief someone who Seymour knows? Or is it a ghost seeking revenge? The Boxcar Children have another mystery to solve!

Then an old fisherman tells Benny of the island’s ghost horse, and late that very night Benny sees a mysterious stallion galloping down the beach. Could the ghost horse have something to do with the disappearances?

The Aldens are helping their grandfather organize Greenfield's Winter Festival. When the Boxcar Children get a roll of photos developed, they find a secret message hidden in one of them. They are baffled, and things become even more mysterious when they realize that someone is trying to ruin the Winter Festival by tearing down the decorations and stealing a local statue! There must be a connection between the message and everything that is going wrong.

Kayla's the star soccer player in town, but someone is trying to ruin her chance to go to the big tournament in Brazil! Can the Boxcar Children help her in time?

The children are attending Camp Coral, where they learn about the ocean and all the things in it - coral, fish, dolphins, and other sea creatures. They find a beautiful hidden beach, but then learn that it holds a terrible secret. Once again, the Boxcar Children must come to the rescue!
