Celtic Folklore

Götter, Göttinnen, Feen und übernatürliche Wesen sind die Hauptfiguren in keltischen Geschichten und Erzählungen aus längst vergangenen Zeiten. Mythen wurden oft zur Erklärung von Naturphänomenen, Leben und Tod und unserer Existenz herangezogen und vermittelten den Menschen im Altertum Erkenntnisse über ihr Leben. Durch das Hören von Geschichten über heldenhafte und fantastische Abenteuer lernten unsere Vorfahren etwas über die Erwartungen, die die Gesellschaft an sie stellte. Das war auch bei den Kelten nicht anders.
