Rebekah Daniels is always excited about something. Most of the time, it's anything at all to do with solving a mystery. Now, she's super excited to be going to a brand-new school with her best friend, Mouse. But so far, her first day isn't starting out so well. She really couldn't help running into the janitor, because how would she get to class in time without running? But, the bigger question remains.... That janitor had shown up in the hall out of nowhere! Rebekah is sure of it. So, now she has her first fifth-grade mystery to solve, and it's a big one!

Early in the morning, young Tepui walks through the Venezuelan tropical rain forest. Colorful birds call from the treetops, and a tribe of monkeys plays in the branches. But Tepui doesn't have time to enjoy the animals he loves so much. He is going to the Science Laboratory to talk to his scientist friends.

It's Spirit Week, and that means costumes, competitions, and chaos. And it's only Monday.... I've got to step up and win the Spirit Week games or Wyatt's red ninjas will have free rein to take over the school. But no matter how hard I play, Wyatt keeps beating me. Chase Cooper here, and this is my sixth diary as a sixth grade ninja. As always, there's trouble brewing in the halls of Buchanan School. A bandit is on the loose who's stealing from innocent students, and as each day passes, the bandit's reach grows even further. As if the situation wasn't bonkers enough, help has come in the unlikeliest of places - Wyatt. But I have sick feeling in my stomach about the whole mystery, like something far worse is going on than anybody realizes.
