金軍・兀朮と呼吸を合わせたかのように戦を停止し、本拠に戻った岳飛。一方、呉用は宣凱に「岳飛を救え」と言い遺していた。梁山泊が救出に動き始める。ようやく臨安府に赴いた岳飛は、帝に拝謁後監禁されてしまう。

童貫率いる宋禁軍が、ついに梁山泊討伐に出動した。開封府では、燕青と侯真が、不穏な動きを見せる青蓮寺の妓館を探っている。梁山泊は楊令を中心に結束を強め、童貫を迎え撃つ準備をかためた。張平は黒騎兵を離れ、新たに編成した青騎兵を率いる。

戦いの気配が次第に濃厚になっていた。岳都で高山の民を加え調練の日々を送る岳飛。南宋水軍の韓世忠は遭難した梁紅玉を救うため、張朔の交易船を襲った。南下してくる南宋軍に対し岳飛は警戒を強め、小梁山の秦容と手を組むことに。

南宋の宰相・秦桧は闇の中で戦いが終わってからのことを考えていた。そんな中、梁山泊の宣凱が岳飛を訪ね対話をする。岳飛は答えた。「中華を中華の民の国にしたい」と。一方、梁山泊の南の開墾地は本格的に始動。
