In 1900, Mary Baker Eddy offered this timeless message to members of her growing First Church of Christ, Scientist. In it, she encourages right thinking, right acting, and right working, along with unselfishness, charity, receptivity, and obedience to God.

It started as a rivalry between two brothers. Promised twins destined to be a nation with the older serving the younger. Esau, the elder of the two men whose loins produced the country of Edom, would often have conflicts with Jacob, whose group of sons formed Israel. Due to internal problems and strife, these two tribes, bonded by blood, would become a fester of pain and struggle towards each other in a land full of hostile empires and nations. During an exile of Israel, a message was sent by the prophet Obadiah to the people who lived on Mount Seir, known as the Edomites.

From the surface, it sounds very nice and like an event of spiritual peace among these two major denominations, that would be such a wonderful thing to see happen but is it even remotely realistic or achievable? Maybe the more important question would be this: Does God desire for such opposed religious practices to reach a point of saying "Every road leads to God.", when the Holy Scriptures do not at all endorse such a position?

Be the assertion true, that insanity is the expecting of a different result; while perpetuating the same ideologies and behavior patterns, then insanity is the plight of black Americans, as well as those charged with their education and liberation. This form of insanity is marked by illiteracy, decadent neighborhoods, spiritual ineptitude and social and financial insufficiency. It is the chains that have been passed down from generation to generation irrespective of the Emancipation Proclamation.
