Edgar Allan Poe was a writer, poet, editor and literary critic. The narrator relates with relish his murder and dismemberment of an old man. Poe’s revelation of the narrator’s madness is a classic study in psychopathology.

Carnacki, the Ghost-Finder is a collection of occult detective short stories by English writer William Hope Hodgson.
