Every time my best friend Hazel and I try to transition out of cleaning other people's homes and into anything else, we end up cleaning up a crime scene in our sleepy hometown of Cooper's Cove, Maine. Our latest job sounds perfect-preparing the inside of an old lighthouse for the town's Festival of Lights. Before we can scrub the place spic and span, we're face-to-face with a mummified murder victim in the lighthouse's basement!
