Domestic Relationships

This book is about my fight. This book outlines the stages of a domestic violent relationship with a significant other, whether a husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, or whatever. No one should have to feel as if he or she is being torn apart to make others happy with themselves. In a relationship, you should be able to count on the other person no matter what. You should be able to take their words at face value and be able to believe them when they say to you that they will never leave. This book will help others to become the warrior that I have slowly learned to become.

I am the narcissist. I will do whatever I want to whenever I want to do it. I will intimidate, triangulate, gaslight, abuse, and scare you at will. I will put you at the center of my friends and my family so that I can control your behavior from all sides and from all angles. You think that you have entered this relationship of your own free will. Not so. You have entered this relationship, and now you are not allowed to leave it before I feel it is time to discard you.

Emotional abuse, or abuse of any kind, is a terrible ordeal for anyone to go through. It affects people's lives in different ways, and can leave wounds that cut deep. If you're in a relationship with someone who is abusive, it may be hard to accept that the person you fell in love with is no longer the person you see now. While leaving is an option, it's understandable for you to want to salvage whatever is left of your relationship and turn things around.

Co-parenting occurs after a divorce when both parents continue to jointly participate in their children’s upbringing. Co-parenting will require a great amount of interaction between both parents. You must be fully committed to maintaining civility and setting aside your differences with your co-parent for the greater good of your children in order to have a healthy co-parenting relationship.
