When 16-year-old Amy returns home, she can't tell her family what's happened to her. Tell me something. How does the word empath sound to you? Empath...say it in your head. Isolate it from every other thought and really say it. Feel every single syllable. Feel each sound that the word makes from start to finish, and think about how it really feels to you. Does it speak to you? Can you feel it say something, hint at something? Do you feel like there’s a very deep, underlying current to the word that goes beyond the everyday understanding of things, the mundane existence of life on this planet?

Empaths can be your best friend, or they can be your worst enemy. Empaths are the great people around you who feel and respond to things a little differently to most people. The physical empath will feel your pain, the emotional and intuitive empaths will feel your happiness and heartache as if it was their own, the dream empath will intuit meaning from your dreams, the plant empath will hear the needs of your plants, the earth empath will feel the needs and connectivity of the bigger picture in the earth, and the animal empath will understand why your Frou Frou is sad today.

The primary objective for the narcissist is power. Narcissists are masters of deceit and manipulation, so anyone can be made a victim and suffer abuse at their hands. Those that do are likely to develop some level of narcissistic abuse syndrome.

When we say the world needs healing we are talking in a more abstract form. Because the reality is, the world is made up of people, and it's the people who needs healing and love. No one is an island and no one should stand alone. We can't be rigid when there is so much pain and suffering in this world. People need to be comforted; they need to know that there is no reason that they should go it alone. People need to know that there are others in this world who cares for them if those people are strangers.

Don’t you think you are mature enough to recognize how your narcissistic mother is still affecting your life, get her out of your head, and become who you really are? I think, then, this book might help. I know you don’t need another book filled in with useless information. You just want to heal.
