Jay Semko, a poet and songwriter from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, is an award-winning solo recording artist and music composer for film and television. Omar Khayyám (1048–1122) was a Persian mathematician, astronomer, and a philosopher who was not known as a poet in his lifetime.
