Alors que Darius s'engage à unir sa vie à celle de la fille du roi d’Oralis pour préserver la paix, je dois revenir en urgence à l'académie Améthyste, mon père étant au plus mal. Entre les magiciens qui viennent de s’installer à l’académie, les réfugiés Shuna et la restauration de l’arbre de vie, je ne sais plus où donner de la tête. Imaginer Darius s'unir à Séraphelle me tourmente, mais je n’ai pas le temps de me morfondre. J’aimerais sauver Nyx, mais le pays est trop instable et nous devons encore découvrir qui sont les traîtres qui ont participés au coup d’état, et sécuriser le palais.
