Una conclusione ambigua - donde, se non da parte tedesca, possono arrivare gli ‘eventuali attacchi'? - che disorienta anche i comandi militari meglio intenzionati. Prive di ordini precisi, tranne poche eccezioni, le forze armate si dissolvono, i più si tolgono l'uniforme, fuggono.
