Schneewittchen kann sich jedoch retten und flüchtet in das Haus der sieben Zwerge. Die bösartige Stiefmutter erfährt von ihrem Zauberspiegel, dass sich ihre Stieftochter zu den Zwergen gerettet hat und versucht sie darauf mit einem Schnürriemen, später mit einem Kamm und schließlich mit einem vergifteten Apfel zu töten.
