Follow a core group of characters known as the Trailblazers as they use alien technology and knowledge discovered in Antarctic ruins to obtain limited immortality and lead humanity out into the galaxy, encountering, befriending, and fighting hundreds of alien races all the while desperately trying to prepare Earth for the unbeatable threat at the core of the Milky Way that is destined to return and reclaim their lost colony and their former human slaves.

In 2088, humankind is at last ready to explore beyond Earth's solar system. But one uncertainty remains: Where do we go? Astrophysicist Reggie Straifer has an idea. He's discovered an anomalous star that appears to defy the laws of physics and proposes the creation of a deep-space mission to find out whether the star is a weird natural phenomenon or something manufactured.

After spending 10 years on Titan where he went through rehab and attended college, he was now returning home to Conclave Station. Reuniting with his lifelong friends - Mal, a computer genius, and Jazz, a natural-born pilot, he started a mining and shipping business. However, while repairing their rock-tug, they stumbled upon a way to control artificial gravity, creating a gravitational force field.

When Lieutenant Iari hears screams in the night, she expects to interrupt a robbery or break up a fight. Instead she discovers a murder with an impossible suspect: a riev, one of the battle-mecha decommissioned after the end of the last conflict, repurposed for manual labor. Riev don't kill people. And yet, clearly, one has. Iari sets out to find it.

Born to oppression, Siena is an ordinary young woman, until an act of defiance leaves her scarred and marked as a rebel. She's sold to Ero, a fallen Krey with a desperate plan to redeem his once-powerful family. He intends to enhance slaves by altering their genetic code, increasing their value through an illegal experiment.

They were humanity's last hope. As the majority of Earth's population uploaded their consciousnesses to embrace digital immortality—free from illness and death in the simulated Metaverse—the Beta Explorers were tasked with expanding their presence throughout the galaxy. They terraformed worlds and created colonies so that humans could live and thrive in physical environments.

The Paladin are able to bypass the Sphere's barrier shield by being grown inside from genetic material, expanding into an invasion army that leads to a confrontation with the Vargemma...and much, much more.

The Hadarak's call for help does not go unanswered, and the Triad begins to realize just how futile a war against the galaxy's true rulers is.

The onslaught has begun, and the galaxy must cope with a very slow-moving certainty of its eventual destruction.

The ever-growing peace and order in the galaxy has nearly run its course as a new series of events begin to take shape. Buckle your seat belt, Dorothy, because Kansas is going bye bye....

Over 100,000 years have passed with Star Force growing into a dominant position as rulers of the Rimward half of the galaxy, but lurking in the shadows are threats of old waiting for the right time to strike.

The Rim Consortium brings many surprises to the V'kit'no'sat as their border colonies come under sudden, coordinated attack.

Mak'to'ran is summoned by Star Force for a meeting that will forever change their relationship...and one that forces him to reevaluate the war against the humans.

The fracturing of the V'kit'no'sat Empire has now come to fruition, but the full-fledged civil war has not resulted. With the depth of experience and knowledge the dinosaur races have accumulated over the millennia, they know the destructive cost that such devastation would bring, and a conservative warfare methodology breaks out wherein the fighting is over territory while trying to spare lives and as much equipment as possible, so not to weaken the overall empire.
