Ranbir's cousin tries to rape Resham. This heats up the situation so much that the Dalits led by Jeevan and Jhabra surround Ranbir's house, they are vying for blood. Jimmy gets arrested from Zubin's house. Ayub indirectly helps Jimmy escape, only to keep a track on him through Joseph. But Jimmy flees away.

The story revolved around the character, Munir, who thinks he lives multiple lives instead of one. This concept is interesting enough to make anyone want to get their hands on the book. Besides, questions on both science and religion were raised throughout the process of trying to solve Munir’s problem which worked out quite well but, yet again, the questions were not answered, and the mysteries were left unsolved.

The moment Aditya Puri steps into his newly constructed Bungalow, he has one eerie experience after the other. Aditya's psychiatrist is convinced that the extremely stressed and guilt ridden Aditya is hallucinating until she too encounters something which drives her to tears.
